ConservativeHome, The TaxPayers’ Alliance, Business for Britain, and the Institute of Economic Affairs are running an early evening Post-Election Conference on Monday, 11th May from 5pm to 9pm at a venue in Westminster.
The immediate aftermath of the general election will be a crucial time for British politics. With all polls and commentators pointing to a hung parliament, it is highly likely that negotiations about the make-up of the next government will still be underway which, as in 2010, could dictate the political direction of travel for the next five years.
The conference will consider the significance of the general election results for those on the broad, centre-right of British politics, and examine the likely consequences that will flow from it. We will hold a series of panel discussions and host a variety of keynote speakers, including a number of senior politicians, journalists, commentators and pollsters to be announced nearer the time.
Attendance at the conference will be free and tickets will be issued in due course, but if you would like to register your interest in attending this agenda-setting event, please click the following link.
